THE NATIONAL GAMES SCANDAL
We have not forgotten the Commonwealth Games scandal. Now,
the scandal associated with the opening ceremony of the National Games scandal
is equally shocking. An official
committee is enquiring into the Lalism episode. That is not all. Even the
management of the events etc. is pitiable.
A number of ‘arrow pointers’, indicating the way to rooms,
were procured from Calicut. When these were received, no one cared to
distribute them. They remain locked in safe custody.
Special mats for practicing games were not distributed to
the players. Money was given for renovating some stadium . Now even the
concerned Minister says he is not aware of this. All these came in the TV
channels; no one has denied it
