A DOOR FOR THE KITCHEN

A DOOR FOR THE KITCHEN
Till now, the Kitchen had no door; it was not considered necessary. Every now and then, we have to go in and out of the kitchen. Anyway, it looks nice. Some people prefer the show, not utility. Even shaving is part of the ‘show’ .
For living, a terrace house is not necessary, but we all prefer it. Without it, prospective grooms for the daughters may not be impressed.  George Fernandes never used to iron his cloths;, even when he became a Minister in the Centre. I think V.K. Krishna Menon too, belong to this category.

When I joined the college, the washerwoman did iron the shirt, without being told to do so. “Thampuran has to go to the college. It does not look nice, if he goes shabbily dressed.” She cares for me, without any reason!
