THE TEMPLE GOVERS
We, who visit he Sastha temple here, are a group. I was
greeted with joy, when I went to the temple after fifteen days, because of
pula.
The women folk are more united. They go on pilgrimage, to
other temples, in a group, collect donations for pooram festival etc. On
Sundays, they sing Ramayana . It is because of women that Hinduism survives;
men are more interested in drinking and playing cards.
