BIG SET BACK FOR MODI
During the vote of thanks for the President’s address, Sitaram
Yechuri CPM –MP, introduced an amendment, TO INCLUDE THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION, in
the speech. This was carried in the Lok sabha, where Government is having sledge
hammering majority. This means that many ruling party MPs stayed away or voted
against the government.
This is a big setback to Modi and a triumph of democracy.
