PIONEERING WORK BY SU RGEONS IN KOCH IN ORGAN TRANSPLANT A nineteen year old boy was killed in Chennai. His father informed the Hospital about his desire to donate all useful parts. In record time , his heart ,liver ,kidney etc were carried in air ambulance to Kochi and the Surgeons began their work. Earlier , the first heart transplant was carried out here and the patient is still alive. There shouls be a law to use organs in case of accidents.
