RANY LAKSHMI BAI
In history, Jhansi Rani Laksmi Bai is praised, as the
greatest heroine of the war of Independence of 1856. The fact is that she was a
fast friend of the British Government
It was with the help of the British army, that she modernized
her army. Obviously, it was not meant to be used against the foreign rulers,
rather, the purpose was to fight Indian rulers .
She became an enemy of the British Government, because of a
difference of opinion regarding adoption, as she did not have a child. There is
no doubt, that she was a very brave lady. As a child, she just climbed up an
elephant, from its front, using its tusks as stepping stone !
Once the war began, she fought fearlessly, herself commanding
the army!
