HISTORY-PARIS COMMUNE

HISTORY-PARIS COMMUNE
In the year 1848, the Communist Manifesto was published by two thinkers, Karl Marx and Frederick  Angels.
In 1881, the workers of Paris took up  arms and threw away the Government and proclaimed  a Republic. It was the first Communist Government in the world. Overtime work was abolished, six day week, with Sunday as a holiday, was introduced
It could survive only a few months, before the army of  the Government crushed it. The communards fought bravely. Marx and Angels watched it from England. After that, workers the world over, began the fight for establishing a Communist society.
