PATHAM UDAYAM

I do not know how this name, meaning tenth Sunrise, came into being.

It denotes the last day of mandalapooja, during these 46 days, there were three times shiveli pradakshinam, distribution of payasam in the evening,   niramala etc. at our Chathakudam Sastha Temle. Daily some hundred devotees attended the function.

On the last day, Shiveli was on the elephant ,with panchary melam(drum beating), fire works etc. All were given free breakfast and food
