HINDU FESTIVAL NAVRATHRI
Navrathri festival is going on for ten days. In North India , burning the effigy of Ravan is the high point. Ramleela (drama of ram) is enacted in each village. Today the shop keeper did not sell eggs , because he is a Hindu!
In Bengal , this is the greatest festival in the form of Durga pooja. Every Bengali comes home, to participate in the activities. It is like onam for Keralites.
