STRAY THOUGHTS
When very young, ‘Happy birth day’ was a day of joy and hope; alas, when old, it is a reminder that the end is nearer by one year.
Old age is not all that bad. For one, thing all will respect you. There is no pressure of time. You can relax all day if you like , or be busy like me.
General growth is minimal; but hair and finger nails grow faster than ever. My fore legs have no hair now, smooth as a girl’s. Even arm pits are hairless. The peripheral hair around my bald head, is growing too fast. The barber will charge the same amount, though are to be dealt is small.
Train charges are subsidized. Why is KSRTC fare not less for old people?
