Respect for the opposition, is the key note of democracy.
When Nehru was he Prime Minister, way back in 1950, he
appointed Shyama Prasad Mukherji, a Hindu Mahasabha leader, as a Minister in
his cabinet.
Nehru was a true democrat. For the functioning of the system,
consensus is necessary.
Modi is doing just the opposite.
Following allegations about mass conversion of Christians
and Muslims into Hindu religion, both houses of Parliament had to be adjourned
time and again, until the current session expired.
Now Modi is trying to cross the river, by a bridge of
ordinances, to complete pending legislative work.
He is becoming a dictator. Who is the real power-Modi or
Amith Shaw?
I have my own doubts.
