PIMPS In my childhood , there were rickshas drawn by human beings in Trichur town. There were very costly ones too . The Malayalam movie ‘avalude ravukal(her nights) ‘ is based on this theme. Prostitution is the earliest of vices. In the villages , people knew where to go .Their wives accepted it as normal . But in the cities , middlemen do the needful . They are contemptibly called the pimps . What is a hotel? Well , a ‘ prostitute’s house serves the same way . If the women do it themselves , there nothing wrong. But if the pimps exploit women , it is a crime . There are international cartels engaged in pimping and governments are not doing anything to stop it. Minor girls are more in demand.
