SUGARCANE Sugarcane plant makes sweet sugar , which is of no use to the plant. Why does it do so? Manufacture of sugar is the biggest consumer industry in the world. Supposing that each person eats half KG sugar in a month, total in a year is 365multiplied by two=730. This figure is to be multiplied by world population. Can you do it? For manufacture of sweets and for use in tea stalls , extra sugar is used. Now you can imagine the quantity of sugar presented to us by this plant . How many people get employment?
