PLIGHT OF NURSES Nurses are always a problem. To give them a better deal, Sushma Sawaraj, Union Minister suggested that recruitment by foreign countries must be through tht Central Government. The idea is god but there is a catch. Cost of study of nurses must be paid by that country, which needs their services. This is not acceptable to them . The result is that other countries like Indonesia may edge our nurse out. This will be a serious blow to Kerala nurses. Our girls are going for this job in a big scale. Let Sushma reconsider the proposal
